Team Gold voted this week and the winner is.....Andrew Wanovich. Andrew stood out among his peers this week and was selected as the Team Gold Wrestler of the Week for 22-26 February. Andrew is in his fourth year as a Rhino and is an 8th grade student at John Griffin Middle School. Andrew plans on wrestling freestyle and greco-roman this Spring and looks forward to the day he can get on the mat at the high school. Good job Andrew.

This week's awardees are Patrick Lowery (Team Purple) and Bradley Wanovich (Team Gold).

Patrick is a 10 year old, first year wrestler and Rhino. Patrick is a student at Don Steed Elementary. Patrick displays an outstanding work ethic week after week and has been in the running for this award for quite a while. Keep up the hard work Patrick!

Brad Wanovich is a 6th grade student at John Griffin elementary. Brad is in his 4th year with the Rhinos and is a standout performer for the Herd. This week Brad displayed not only the effort but the attitude we expect out of him every week and led the Herd with his example. Way to go Brad! Lead the Herd!

Our wrestlers of the week for this week are Mark Ray (Team Purple) and Jakob Kirk (Team Gold).

Mark is a 9 year old student at Stoney Point Elementary who loves to share information with everyone! Mark is a first year wrestler and Rhino. Mark tempered his enthusiasm this week and really focused on his effort in the practice room! "Do Work, Mark."

Jakob Kirk continues to shine this year. His effort in the practice room not only impresses the coaching staff but impresses his teammates as well. I think they would pick him as the Wrestler of the Week 9 times out of 10. Jakob is in his 3rd year of wrestling as a Rhino and is a 5th grader at Gallberry Farms Elementary School.
