From Charlotte: Take Highway 74 to Old Wire Road in Laurel Hill (make a left onto Old Wire Rd. and go over the train tracks). Follow Old Wire Road until it dead ends into 401, and make a left onto 401 North. Follow 401 North until you come into Fayetteville, and make a right onto Gillis Hill Road at the Super WalMart. Follow Gillis Hill until you come to Stoney Point Road and make a left. Follow Stoney Point Road-you will come to an intersection with a stoplight (a little ways down from a flashing light intersection. Go through the intersection with the stoplight and look immediately to your right after the short line of trees to see the school in the clearing behind Stoney Point Elementary School.
From Greensboro: Take 220 South to 211East to 401 North. Then: Follow 401 North until you come into Fayetteville, and make a right onto Gillis Hill Road at the Super WalMart. Follow Gillis Hill until you come to Stoney Point Road and make a left. Follow Stoney Point Road-you will come to an intersection with a stoplight (a little ways down from a flashing light intersection. From the Triangle: Take 40 East to 95 South to Exit 56 (US-301/I-95-BR S/FAYETTEVILLE/FORT BRAGG/POPE AFB). This is 301 South/Business 95. Follow this for 7.7 miles until you make a right onto Owen Drive. In 1.2 miles, make a left onto Cumberland Road. Bear left onto Cumberland Rd and go west for 3.8 miles to Fisher Rd. Turn left onto Fisher Rd and go Southwest for 0.93 miles to Lakewood Dr. Turn left onto Lakewood Dr and go Southwest for 2.0 miles to Rockfish Rd. Turn left onto Rockfish Rd and go Southeast for 240 feet (the school is right behind Stoney Point Elementary School).
From Points East: Take 24 West. Turn left on Eastern Boulevard/301 Business when you get to Fayetteville. Follow this for 7.7 miles until you make a right onto Owen Drive. Developmental League
     

For a lot of wrestlers just starting out in the sport it does not make a lot of sense to drive a couple of hours, pay a $15 entry fee, and wrestle less than two-minutes for the whole day.

We realize this and are participating in the testing of a statewide developemental league. Events have $5 entry fees and participation is restricted to first and second year wrestlers, 8th grade and below.

Events are run in round-robin format so you are pretty much guaranteed three matches and a participation award.

Low stress for the family and the wrestler and lots of fun while you test your developing skills!

Coaches must contact Marty Bartram to insure participation slots. We accept a limited number of entries. NO WALK INS!!! Practice Tourneys are run on Sundays. Check in is from 1 to 1:30 pm. Wrestling is from 2-5 pm. We try and get every wrestler a minimum of three matches. Every wrestler leaves with a participation award. Please do not show up prior to 1 pm the doors will be locked!
