Thank you for visiting our partnership opportunities page. No volunteer organization can reach high levels of success without community partnership. (Download a Partnership Packet)

Allow me to introduce the greatest wrestling organization in Cumberland County.  We are a nationally sanctioned club that promotes wrestling for youth from the ages of 4-18 in the greater Fayetteville area.  We are committed not only to teach wrestling skills, but also to teach discipline, fair play and good sportsmanship.  We wrestle all over the state of North Carolina as well as out of state at several national tournaments.

Our club has been in existence about a decade and has achieved a high level of success.  Many times the wrestlers in our club have worked their way to the top of the podium to claim the title of North Carolina State Champion, Southern Champion, Rhino eXtreme Champion, North Carolina national team member and several compete today for colleges and universities across our great nation (See the Wall of Honor). This past season one of our alumni earned a spot on the Puerto Rico World Team and competed internationally during the collegiate off season.

Your contribution will help us continue this success and may help us defray membership costs for wrestlers.  Athletes often pay between $100 and $300 a month a piece to practice martial arts, boxing, gymnastics, hockey and other team sports.  We work very hard to keep membership prices low to allow every child to the opportunity to wrestle.  We practice in a Cumberland County high school and approximate our 2008-2009 season rent fees at $9000.  Overhead is a constant challenge for our not-for-profit club and our all-volunteer staff.  In addition to defraying membership costs your contribution may help us purchase warm-ups and uniforms; help defray the cost of transportation to and from tournaments; and allow up and coming young men and women, who may not otherwise have the opportunity, to compete.

As a Rhino Wrestling Club Partner, your name and/or business will play a prominent role throughout our season as well as at our annual tournaments. Our tournaments, held in Fayetteville, draw between 500 and 800 of the top wrestlers and their 2000-3000 fans from throughout North Carolina as well as wrestlers throughout the United States. Wrestlers and coaches recognize the Rhino eXtreme as one of the most competitive tournaments in the Southeastern U.S. and the toughest youth tournament in our state. The Red, White, & Blue National Duals was an inaugural event last season and was a tremendous success. Both events are held at the Cumberland County Crown Center and we will host teams from Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey along with numerous wrestlers from North Carolina. These tournaments are our single greatest expense and they provide Rhino Wrestling Club Partners a unique opportunity for exposure as well as the occasion to highlight our great city. The Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau works with us to make these events an annual occurrence and two of Fayetteville’s premier sporting events.

Thank you for allowing me to tell you about the greatest wrestling club in Cumberland County. We are an IRS registered non-profit organization and can provide you with the necessary tax information upon request. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at the number or email address below. I hope you will be able to help us in our effort to develop young ladies and gentlemen of strong character for our community. (Download a Partnership Packet)

Very Respectfully,
Marty Bartram
